Established in 1983 by the late Pastor Rupert L. Dudley, The Lord Jesus Christ House of Prayer Church in Oxford, North Carolina, stands as a testament to his ministry. Pastor Dudley laid a firm foundation, emphasizing the mission of winning the lost at any cost.
In July 2002, Pastor Dudley passed away, and Assistant Pastor Anthony Herndon took the mantle, leading LJCHOP through a transformative journey. Embracing change and building on the wisdom of the past, the church transitioned to operate under the name Emmanuel Worship Center.
Today, as a place for those seeking Jesus, Emmanuel Worship Center extends a heartfelt welcome to individuals and families eager to nurture their growth in Christ. We anticipate meeting you on a Sunday morning in the near future as we press forward in fulfilling God’s purpose.
